For instance, there are some markets and a mall within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Juliaca airport by taxi and about 15 minutes by colectivo (route B-1).

The house and the room were really nice and clean, and Sonia cooked some nice meals for us. Vidal helped us organise the transport to and from the island, including the tour of the Uros and Taquile islands, and he accompanied us from and to the port.

I had an injured ankle and they organised a doctor and nurse to come out. Our room was on the third floor and they brought me breakfast up to our room so I didn’t have to climb down the stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean.

It was very centrally located, close to Plaza des Armas and plenty of restaurants, ATMs, etc. The owner and his family were absolutely lovely, and let me store my bags and use the bathroom when I had a day tour followed by a night bus. The room was comfortable, with a nice bed and clean bathroom. Highly recommend!
