With regard swimming, the beach is very close by, however be sure to wear wet shoes as the rocky shore is a bit rough on bare feet. If brave and capable, I highly recommend renting a motorcycle to explore the surroundings. Our host Miki (Mechie), is warm, engaging and pleasant to chat with and incredibly helpful. We developed a bond with Miki and hope to be able to visit her again someday for a longer duration 😊
