The garden is as beautifully maintained as the whole Residence. Staff is incredibly warm und helpful, they go out of their way to help you or arrange something for you, the also have a good address book! Food was lovely (the mother is an excellent cook!) and eating in the garden, soúrrounded by roses, cherry trees and apricot trees is a real treat. The bathroom is all in white - and so clean! Hot water runs in the morning and in the evening, electricity was always available and also WIFI worked well. The bed was good too. I will come back to Taaj Residence for sure!

Room was affordable and comfortable, wifi’s always available even during power outages. Thank you my man, it’s been great.

A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Mountain Face Guest House was simply amazing. The hospitality of Mr. Sana Ullah and his son Haseeb made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We even cooked our own meals, and Haseeb was always there to assist us — just like a family member. The environment was warm and friendly, with breathtaking views all around. The guest house is beautifully nestled among mountains and greenery, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city rush. One of the best parts is that Manthal Buddha Rock is just a 15-minute walk from the guest house — a perfect short hike to an amazing historical site. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Make sure to try the local breakfast — it’s fresh, delicious, and a great way to start your day. Would definitely love to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu!
