From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We had a wonderful stay at this place! We were offered a delicious welcome drink on our arrival of a homemade blueberry liquor. The coffee station was outstanding. If I could have the breakfast every day, I would! You can also pay separately to eat here for dinner. The menu features local cuts of many meats and was also absolutely delicious. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Even though I saw only the two owners while here, it was supremely clean throughout the place. The view of the river and surrounding area is lovely, and each room features a balcony. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!

One of the loveliest surprises was the hideaway (smaller room) at the top of the chalet – clearly designed with kids in mind. Ours claimed it as their “kingdom” within minutes and spent hours up there in their own world. The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We rented a bike to explore the panorama and let the kids roam safely in the open space around the chalet. Just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the mountains and fresh air, felt like the ultimate reward. We would love to come back again in the future.

The breakfast was also nice, and we had dinner at the JRE restaurant, which was delicious! All good words for this property and the family that runs it. I highly recommend it and hope to return!
