I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go (train station, restaurants, Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park) within 30 minutes. Even though the rooms are not AC, I thought the fan kept things plenty cool, and I was very comfortable. They even provided a simple European style breakfast with toast, coffee (instant), tea, and yogurt.
