The breakfast was a lovingly prepared set to keep anyone going for a whole day of walking or relaxing on the beach.

The hostel itself is very spacious and provides chill out areas indoors and outside, in the shade and in the sun, inviting for any kind of weather and mood. It is super clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, bathroom tidy any time of the day, shared room comfortable with enough space and lockers. The hostel is located at the main street close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, but also close to all beaches of La Paloma. In the end, I stayed for more than a week and can fully recommend to stay in this place!

Continental and vegetarian breakfast options are available at the inn. At Posada IRSIS you will find a restaurant serving Mediterranean and local cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Juan was an incredible host, super friendly and helpful. And spoke great English which is always a bonus for me! The apartment felt like it was a fancy tree house, completed emerged in trees with birds all around. It also had everything I needed, including a bath mat, dish detergent, sponge, tea towel, salt and pepper. I've discovered these are not to be taken for granted in Uruguay!

Only 600 metres from La Viuda beaches, El Diablo y El Mar has comfortable rooms with sea views in Punta del Diablo. A daily continental breakfast is offered and Wi-Fi is free.

El Diablo has bright, air-conditioned rooms with minibars, TVs and private bathrooms with showers. Property was great and comfortable. Property owner was very helpful. He asked us to let him know when we were 1 hour away so that he could turn the heating on as it was a cold night. He also went above an beyond to get us breakfast to our liking.
