The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped. Bedrooms and communual rooms were very spacious. The host was extremely accommodating with our change of arrival time. Great value for money, I would recommend.

On arrival, the chateau looked a little run-down, however……. what a lovely stay we had. Arthur and Victorine have done some magic inside and the room we had was lovely. Tastefully decorated in a modern way that still does not look out of place given the age of the building. Quirky sloping floors and walls add to the character. So quiet and peaceful, we had a very restful night. For only €8 each, we had a lovely breakfast with breads, croissants, fresh fruit salad and yoghourt, cheese and ham and cake. Arthur and Victorine (and their lovely two young boys) could not have been more welcoming and Arthur tried very well (and successfully) in his English….. better than my French! Owen the jack-russel (non-yappy!) and the goats just added to the experience. The chatueau is very much work in progress but all that has been done is self contained. About 15/20 minutes from Oradour-sur-Glane it is a good base from which to explore the local area. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room and host. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower & bathroom. Location is excellent for access to Oradour-sur-Glane. Breakfast was superb.

Everything is great for one day stay! Clean, well decorated, good bath. Have a place to park the car! Nenad knows I cannot speak French well, he tried to use English to communicate with me. I didn’t see him in person, but he record the video to explain me everything. Very easy to communicate!
