We were in the small, twin room, but it was bigger than we expected and very comfortable (although the shower cubicle could have been slightly larger). Terence and Piper were excellent hosts and gave us very helpful suggestions for our trip. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was reasonably easy to manage. Easy to walk into the harbour and to the nearby Ilfracombe Lookout.

Everything was just great. Nice owners, nice and clean room and bathroom, lovely breakfast, great location. We fell in love with Ilfracombe and will definitely return to Varley House!

Everything was great. Absolute super. Very high and modern standard. Extremely good hospitality and great food. Do not miss this excellent B&B! It is worth a trip. We regret that we did not stay longer, but would love to come back.

Michelle is a most wonderful owner! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting/ staying with her. Everything was lovely & very clean! The breakfast was delicious! A short walk to the little village for a most lovely view & supper at the Foscle Pub.

Sailors rest was fab - freshly decorated and very clean. Good quality linen & towels etc, water piping hot and breakfast at their other premises down the road was excellent. Nice touch was fresh milk in fridge on arrival and enough tea and coffee for several cups. Not the standard single pot to plastic milk. lol Self check in worked fine and Lady at the Royal George for Breakfast was super friendly. Great location right on the Estuary Front!
