Homestays in Patra

The owner came and pick me up when I was lost. The room was Clean! Kind of the owner to let me cook my dinner and use the washing machine. It was the best sleep I had in a week. Great views from the house

I really loved how hospitable the host and his son were. They offered me food and told me about the surrounding mountains and the beach. They have 2 cats, Chrysalis and Frida who are really fluffy and love to play and hide around. Essentially, you rent a room in their apartment and so the apartment is shared with the host and his son, but they are very kind, quiet and respectful so really it's a wonderful experience of greek hospitality in a great location, just 30 mins on foot from the entrance to the city of Patras. The location is really quiet and picturesque, and 1 hour away by foot from the city center. The bus stops are very close. The apartment is very clean and so is the room I stayed in, I had 3 towels provided(1 big, 1 medium,1 small) and also a blanket. The room has a huge balcony overlooking the sea and the mountains. On the balcony there is also a table with chairs so you can just chill outside. The beach is very close, 10 minutes away by foot. The bathroom is clean and there is hot water. The host and his son are very respectful and very helpful and even made an effort to communicate with me in my native language when they could, instead of using english, so I felt really welcome there. The host is really passionate about romanian composers, history and he has biked on Transfăgărășan and Transalpina!! All in all, you should stay here, it's really worth it!

The hotel was excellent. Staff lovely and the food was delicious. Top spot for a chilled stay. Truly enjoyed the view from room and the tavern at hotel. Beds were comfortable and would love to enjoy a quiet stay here again.

Eleni the host and her husband made us so very welcome. The room was a good size with a fantastic view. Everything was clean and worked. There is a comfortable welcoming feel to this hotel - very nice indeed! Excellent value for the room. Delicious supper and breakfast - all freshly cooked. Parking outside. We travelled to see the beautiful bridge and decided to stay nearby.
