Pak Cahyo was very friendly, helpful and proactive, particularly in helping us find his place and in planning our hike in a cost-efficient way. The room we were provided was sufficient for the short sleep we needed before our sunset hike. The bathroom has hot water and a bidet. The accommodation is overall decent for the price. The homestay (but not the room specifically) has an excellent view directly facing Gunung Bromo and is also close to the Kingkong/Pananjakan area. We have no serious complaints and leave with good memories of Cemorolawang and Bromo.

Clean, warm shower & two blankets given so we were plenty warm! Great place to stay if you are looking to hike Mt. Bromo area without a tour (although the house is ~30 min uphill walk to the main part of town) Menu’s are provided from local restaurants and they will deliver to the Homestay!
