Wayan and his family were the best hosts I had in Bali. They are very fun and caring people. The food was great, also the best Nasi Goreng and Mi Goreng I had in Bali. The rooms and living area are new and from the bed you will have a great view of the countryside landscape. Also from the restaurant there is an amazing view! Wayan also rents out scooters so you can be mobile and discover the area where you will find lots of waterfalls and amazing temples. Wayan helps you with everything and is always there to solve your problem, if you have one. He will also offer to bring you everywhere with his car if you plan to do some activities... I loved this place and was really sad when I had to leave. Beautiful family - beautiful place!

We’re glad to have decided to stay here on the last few days of our Bali vacation. Our family of 22 stayed here from Dec 30 to Jan 4 so we spent our New Year’s eve here. It is the most relaxing part of our trip. The real gems are the staff who will do everything they can to ensure your stay is as comfortable and happy. Food from the restaurant is excellent as well. It is good value for money and some of the best we’ve eaten for the whole trip. The villa we stayed at are spacious and very comfortable. You will never go wrong with this villa. We will be back for sure.

We want to thank all the staff at The Hidden Valley for making us feel right at home. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the kind goodbye when we left. The service was always given with a smile, and we really appreciated the time you took to chat with us. We'll truly miss both you and your beautiful place. Made and his family are so happy and friendly. Made has a cheeky and funny sense of humour, he made us lol. Breakfast omelettes were great. We had a satay bbq and helped making dinner, it was enak (delicious) Rooms are new and clean, firm comfortable beds which we liked. Pool was always clean and refreshing Wifi worked well 24hrs Made took us on an all day tour to Sideman, La Montagne Cafe overlooking rice fields and Penglipuran Village, he was very patient and informative. There is no airconditioning but it’s cool and not needed even on the hottest day there. Highly recommended for a restful stop and interaction with local Balinese family.

It's amazing place to stay in Sidemen. Probably the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. It's private area with 2 villas with pool and lovely garden full of butterflies and birds. Owner is very kind, friendly, helpful,... we felt like part of his family. We wish we could spend more time here. Let's hope there no overturism in Sidemen.

My stay at Made Putu Homestay was exactly what I was looking for: a glimpse into a real Balinese home and the hosts Made and Putu made it even more exceptional. So much so that I ended up extending it for one more night! I arrived early in the evening and they welcomed me with open arms. I stayed for dinner that night (which was delicious) and they kept me company as I was traveling solo. They are genuine about wanting to get to know their guests (only two rooms which makes it even more intimate like if you were staying at family house) while still giving you your own privacy. Through them, I was able to understand the Balinese culture from a local point of view from the nourishing and delicious meals to the excursions they took me on (rice fields, Besakih Temple, Tirta Gangga, waterfalls, etc) I could not have more please with my stay. The location was also amazing, in the center of the village and walking distance to the market, restaurants, the rice trekking with breath-taking views of Mount Agung, silver jewelry workshops. They will also help you with traveling to your next destination by either driving you or arranging a car. I can only recommend it!
