This is such a special place, and like others have said, the pictures really don't do it justice. It's absolutely stunning - the pool and gardens, as well as the architecture. The owner and staff are all so friendly and ready to help if needed. There is so much love and care that's gone into creating this place. Luckily, we were the only guests at the time, so we had the pool to ourselves! The address that is shown on Booking is incorrect - the Google Maps address that shows the location as north of the main road is correct. The immediate surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. There are rice fields at the back that we walked through, which were nice. The other direction (a 5-minute walk away from the property) is a busy road - which seems to be the case in much of Bali. For us, it was a special place to stay for a couple of nights before heading towards the airport. The place is also open for photo shoots, which I was a bit worried about when I read it in the contract I was given to sign on arrival. But there was just a group on the last morning, which didn't really interrupt our stay. I think the staff will just need to ensure that the shoots don't affect the guests' experience of chilling by the pool, as a photo shoot has a very different energy!

It was a great idea to stay at this place. Very beautiful territory and the house itself. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. They answered all my questions about Ubud and helped with the purchase of tickets for the events. The staff is very friendly and kind. If you want a comfortable stay, then you are definitely here. Staying at this hotel in Ubud was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. I booked through Booking.com and wasn’t expecting to be this impressed. The location is absolutely ideal — it’s central and close to everything you might need, yet it still offers the peaceful, relaxing vibe that Ubud is famous for. The room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-decorated with beautiful Balinese touches that made it feel cozy and authentic. Every corner of the property is well maintained, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. What truly made the difference was the staff — everyone was so kind, always smiling, helpful, and genuinely warm. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also booked an in-house massage, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — calming, professional, and exactly what I needed. If I could give more than 10, I absolutely would. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone

Perfect accomodation. Clean, spacious room with nicely decorated bathroom and balcony with the little jungle view even though apt. is in the city center, just 5min. walk from the Yoga Barn. There are some cafes and restaurants close by, but if you want to cook you can use kitchen in the common area. I love that apartment is in the city center however nicely quiet. The most important: Amazing, lovely owners who are running the business. Helpfull, full of passion and joy. You will feel like at home during your stay :) Reccomending with all my heart! Yogabarn lovers, dont hesitate!

    Awesome place! Deffinitely stay there if you have a chance. It's a family place owned by artist Made Kaek, and his signature is visible all around the place. His wife runs the homestay and cooks delicious breakfast (for a very small fee). The room is beautiful and really clean. We spent some time with two of them in the afternoon while we were having coffee - talking about his art, travels, and finally, he showed us his gallery. We unfortunately stayed only one night, but it was a very interesting experience as a whole :). Thank you :)!
