"Dream come true" stay! Waking up to the magnificent Himayayan mountains view from the balcony and delicious breakfast, greeted by helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean, and warm. Enjoyed the chat with other guests sitting around the fireplace at dinner, yummy, and cooked with local produce. Above all, it was the "state of the art" hospitality and genuine kindness of the owner, Mr and Mrs Varma, who made this stay so memorable. They treated me as if I were their old friend or a family member, helping me from taxi booking to planning a local day trip and even giving me beautiful gift on Christmas Eve which I will treasure for the rest of my life. Highly recommended for everyone!

The person am forgetting the name who manages the whole property is very helpful. I bought hing and a monkey took it from the dorm room and thrown it on a roof, which with the help of the property manager I got it back. He also provided hot water for bath as there was some problem with the electricity. The property is located just opposite to jhula park, in the heart of mussorie.

Location near Mall road., food quality was best. Owner, both brothers were polite,sweet and friendly. Though,the road to hotel was steep ,they take care to pickup and drop by hotel vehicle.

I was greeted at the gate by Minakshi and her daughter who helped my dog and I down the hundred metal steps. The effort was well worthwhile. Located just a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of Gandhi Chowk, the Hundred Stairs is a haven of peace and tranquility with astonishingly beautiful views across the valley and down to Dehradun. My room was spotless and newly decorated with a big comfy bed, and a welcome wardrobe to hang clothes. Little extras like toilet paper, shampoo and toothpaste in the bathroom were much appreciated. Minkshi's simple home cooking was delicious and no effort was spared in ensuring that I felt welcome and at home. Dogma, my trusted hound was given an equally warm welcome. I would recommend Hundred Stairs whole heartedly to other travellers with canine companions. And I will be back next year.
