We've been traveling now for a long time and this has been our favorite stay so far. We celebrated Diwali with their family and we got to know everyone. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and Shivani even held us company every meal that we ate at their place, which she didn't have to. Pushkar wasn't our favorite place that we've visited in India but because of our homestay and Shivani, we will definitely return to Pushkar again to stay with them. We felt at home, we felt welcome and most importantly we felt the genuineness. While you are here make sure to do the cooking class because it's really good and Shivani is very good at teaching. Last but not least, the location is really good. It's situated extremely near the center of the town, but at the same time, it's in a calm location which made it very appealing for us who wanted to relax. Our room was very clean and everything was better than expected and lastly the food that they serve is really good.

Entering this house is stepping into a place filled with history and hospitality. Seven generations have lived here, and you can trace the family’s history through portraits and photos displayed on the walls. The house and the rooms are tastefully decorated in a colonial style. The meals, prepared by the lady of the house, are delicious, and the famous Italian tiramisu is a must-try. Divyaratna and his family are wonderful host who will make sure you are well looked after. Sharda's Homestay was a fab find in Ajmer. Loved my stay here in a clean and comfy room that was equipped well for a short stay over. The staff on location were very friendly too and assisted when called upon during my stay. Being a caffeine addict, having access to a kettle and complimentary coffee was added advantage. Located within walking distance to the Railway Station, the Lake, the Dargah and the Fort made it easier to cover a lot of places within a single day. Also within walking distance is the bus stop where I could get local buses for a day trip to Pushkar. Thanks to staff for this tip.

The owner of this place is one of the most pleasant to communicate housekeepers I met on my way. The place is nearby the lake where all the touristic activities take place, but it is very calm and peaceful. The price is very good. I saw the people who stay here for a long time, because the place is good and calm.

The reason this place has a feel of a traditional Rajasthani house, because it is one. There are a bunch of banana trees in the courtyard, a mini temple behind it and a few cats that lighten things up. The host family is very kind. The dad though has a monotonous tone and at times, may feel like he is upto something - like he wants to chase you out of the house. But as the days pass by, you know is is a kind as the other members of the family.
