Since we arrived we loved the place, it is very calm and the hostess was super nice, it was an unforgettable stay. She took great care of us since we arrived in Nara, if you are looking for a traditional Japanese house to stay this is the perfect option, since more than a stay it is an experience that I am sure you will never forget, the interior of the property is really clean and It has all the facilities you need.

I was very fortunate that there were no other guests staying in the house and I had the whole space to myself, very spacious and comfortable, and the hostess Kyoko was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place, close to Nara Deer Park.

Nara Guesthouse was very accommodating to us and our needs. When we needed to drop off our luggage a bit earlier in the morning, they allowed us to! The space is also very large and I would totally recommend booking out the entire guesthouse for larger groups. I loved how the location was so close to everything you can imagine.

Everything was perfect. The checkin, luggage storage, route suggestion from the staff, great selection of champus and conditioners, free tea, coffee and a microwave - all available in the common area. You're made to feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. Hiroko and Dane were great hosts and the place provided us with everything we needed, including a nice breakfast. We got a lift to the train station when we were leaving as it was raining - a very nice gesture.
