The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful! The common room was spacious, quiet and stylish and they had coffee, tea, milk and so on. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable and when my friend left they let me stay in the same room even though I was supposed to move to a bed in the dormitory. On the last day, they kept my bag until I came back before going to the airport.

Excellent place to stay in Beppu. Great location, free parking, nice and fully equipped common area and kitchen, friendly staff speaking a great English. Can't think of a single reason to complain about this place, would visit again for sure. Plus: great attention to families and kids.

Very large and clean shared kitchen and rest area. Also the mattress is very spacious, soft, and clean. The public onsen bath is very fantastic!

I really enjoyed my stay! The hosts were so kind, and took their time to talk about what I should do in the area... that was really special. The home itself is very cute, simple, and feels like home! The room had everything I needed for my stay, and was really conveniently located. If I return to Beppu, I'll stay again!

The couple that runs the place are the nicest and so helpful even though we can't speak Japanese. Place is so clean and comfy, kitchen was fully equipped for all our daily meals. Love the plants and decor around the main floor.

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very attentive and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. We were able to try both onsens and it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We would definitely book again if we are in Yufuin.
