We spent a couple nights to our full satisfaction and very much as expected. Gyeongju, we thought, calls for staying in a traditional place like this. The premises and building of Soseoljae Guest are very beautiful and serene. Like another era really. The rooms are spacious enough, the bathroom tiny, but functional. Personally I think sleeping on the floor like that is comfortable. The location is unbeatable for walking everywhere plus taxis are available just around the corner. To be honest, I was a bit worried about the breakfast, not for myself, but some of my pickier family members. They liked it. The owner is sweet. Don't hesitate to book.

A calm oasis within walking distance of the main attraction’s. The host was exceptional - on a rainy day, she dropped off a picnic basket. Original Hanok features, care and attention to detail and the bed being super comfortable were additional joys. I felt happy and home here.

Super spacious, cosy, clean, cute, modern hanok-style accommodation. We loved absolutely everything about it! The kitchen appliances were amazing. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Central, convenient location with all the Gyeongju sights/cafes/shopping street in walking distance. Ella was so lovely and helpful as a host and helped us book taxi to station.

The property was so clean and beautiful! Everything was so nicely organised and decorated, and made everything feel very warm and homely. We had a short stay but were treated no differently, and the owner was so kind and provided amazing hospitality during our stay.     Cute and quiet guesthouse with a lovely host. Small but comfy room with good air con. Delicious breaky. The lady that owns the guesthouse is gorgeous, limited English but very helpful with what to see and do in the area including a map of the area. Location of guesthouse was perfect for sight seeing in Gyeongju. Walking distance to ask the major sights and from a bus stop to the Buddhist temple 30mins out of town. Those guesthouse deserves the great rating it has, would recommend.

    Clean modern home stay in traditional Hanok premises with all the tradition features but updated with all the mod cons you could wish for, excellent location in middle of Gyeongju Hanok village and within walking distance to all the main historical sites- host was super friendly, went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and calling taxis for us AND even walking us to the pick up point , and was always quick to respond to our message enquiries via WhatsApp Very highly recommended!

    Great location and lovely hosts ! We enjoyed our stay at Doran Doran Guesthouse. 5 minutes walking from main historic sites of Gyeongju. A huge free parking 150m behind the guesthouse. The breakfast was really good, with fresh fruits and eggs.
