Amazing homestay. Lovely peaceful location. Large and very clean room. Breakfasts and dinners were fantastic and excellent value for money. Staff were amazing, friendly, chatty and extremely helpful, going the extra mile, and remembering preferences. They organized tours and also currency exchange.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful — the room was very comfortable and stylish, easily comparable to a 3- or 4-star hotel. We felt completely safe and at home. The location is okay, but what makes this place truly special is the amazing owner and their lovely family. We had a fantastic home-cooked dinner, and they even helped us catch our early morning train. As we left, they handed us a beautifully prepared breakfast box with a sweet surprise :) Experiences like this are rare not just in Anueadhapura, but all across Sri Lanka. Highly recommended — thank you for everything!

Very friendly hosts, always with a smile! We arrived very late at 1:00 and they were waiting for us, they also prepared that time a dinner for us and that was great! Very clean room, nice garden and great breakfast. I definitely recommend this.

Pali and his lovely wife and daughter made my stay lovely. The bed was fine, the a/c very strong and nice warm shower. A lovely place and Pali organised a tuk tuk for a reasonable price to take me round the ancient sites and to nearby Mihintele. Pali helped me get dinner, made me Sri lankan coffee and took me to the bus station which is actually walking distance. The lake is a few meters away and is a nice morning walk with many birds and fish. He also rents bicycles which I took to see the free sights with Pali's guidance.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we got a cold towel and some refreshment. They helped us with our request and we could also have dinner there. We wanted a taxi to the Wilpattu Park for the next day and they arranged it for us. They also helped us finding a guide for a city tour. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to them!

    Ceylonima Home stay is a must! Mapa and Kanchi are the best hosts ever. Mapa is super helpful when planning trips or taxis (their brother is a great driver!). Kanchi has spoiled us with the best food in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were beautiful too! We highly recommend the homestay.

    I had the most wonderful time at the Ceylonima Home Stay. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka and as a female solo traveler I felt very welcome and safe. I had dinner at the homestay the first evening which tasted great! The next day, Mapa gave me and my friends a tour through Mihintale. We really enjoyed learning about the Buddhist culture! Mapa and his wife make sure you have everything you need and the car ride to the train station is just perfect! Thank you for introducing me to your country😊

    Great hosts, very helpful and caring. We had the best food and a great tour to Mihintale for sunset! There are some bicycles for rent at the homestay so you can visit the old city easily. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
