Our experience at this place was fantastic! Impeccably clean rooms and a stunning new rooftop terrace provided a delightful breakfast in the morning and a cozy spot for evening beers with a view. The family's warmth and friendliness were the perfect finishing touch! Would highly recommend!!!

The host and family were simply wonderful! We arrived around 830pm after a day long road trip, hungry and tired. Kanchana prepared a satisfying meal for the four of us at such short notice. Her husband also arranged tuk tuks for us to tour Anuradhapura. The location is rustic and quiet. A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life

We had an amazing host, Wasanta.He arranged a car from Colombo when we realized there are no trains due to long running engineering work. The car driver, Lailith, was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The homestay itself was comfortable and we'll located to visit local historical sites. We ate breakfast and dinner here each day...vegetarian on our request. All delicious and authentic Sri Lankan. The room had a mosquito net and ac. There was free water provided from a water dispenser in the communal area. Lailith also drove us in his tuk tuk to Minitale and around ancient Anuradhapura. His knowledge really added to the experience. Wasanta was equally knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and was very approachable. He arranged a safari to Wilpattu National Park. He taxied us there and back, arranged an excellent safari jeep driver with homemade breakfast and lunch provided. The highlight was seeing a leopard but also lots of other species of animal. Wasanta also arranged a taxi to Haberana with a wonderful Dambulla excursion on the way. We would highly recommend the homestay.

Very nice hosts. They were very helpful with everything. Even made sure that we arrived safely on our next stop after leaving there. The rooms were also very clean. They are providing dinner and breakfast. Everything I ate there was very tasty. It was one of the most delicious food I ate in Sri Lanka. Definetly recommend it.

Palik and his family were amazing!! I've never felt so welcomed anywhere in the world. We stay 4 nights and then extended, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. He was full of recommendations for places to eat and things to see; greeted us with tea; arranged a tour; drove us to the bus station; cooked us a traditional meal; on and on and on. I can't talk them up enough. The Guest house is quite near both the new town rail station as well as the bus station, it is right across from an island that has hundreds of birds (I counted a dozen species) nesting in it.

The Ultimate Base for Anuradhapura Exploration! Wow! What a fantastic stay right in the middle of Anuradhapura town! The central location is unbeatable, putting you right near all the ancient kingdom ruins. We managed to cover all eight sacred sites (Atamasthana) – Jayasri Maha Bodhiya, Thuparamaya, Ruwanwelisaya, Lovamahapaya, Abhayagiriya, Jethawanaramaya, Mirisawetiya, and Lankarama – in just four hours (from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM)! This place truly makes ancient city exploration a breeze. Plus, Mr. Bandara and his wife were the epitome of humble and friendly hospitality. This spot is highly recommended!

    Ceylonima Home stay is a must! Mapa and Kanchi are the best hosts ever. Mapa is super helpful when planning trips or taxis (their brother is a great driver!). Kanchi has spoiled us with the best food in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were beautiful too! We highly recommend the homestay.

    I had the most wonderful time at the Ceylonima Home Stay. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka and as a female solo traveler I felt very welcome and safe. I had dinner at the homestay the first evening which tasted great! The next day, Mapa gave me and my friends a tour through Mihintale. We really enjoyed learning about the Buddhist culture! Mapa and his wife make sure you have everything you need and the car ride to the train station is just perfect! Thank you for introducing me to your country😊

    Great hosts, very helpful and caring. We had the best food and a great tour to Mihintale for sunset! There are some bicycles for rent at the homestay so you can visit the old city easily. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
