If you plan to visit Yala national park, this will be great choice to stay. The accomodation is nice, clean snd 2 minutes from the beach. The owner has build it all by himself. He is super kind, helpful and the best cook! Really recommend to have dinner at his place - we had red snapper and it was delicious. He can also organise for you the safari tour.

Santha and his family were so lovely and warm. The location is great for safari and checking out some of the beautiful beaches nearby that are basically empty. We did the safari with Santha too and loved it. We are both ecologists and Santha was very knowledgable about all the animals and also knew all the tricks for getting the best out of the safari without the 4am start! Highly recommend

Stayed a couple of days and absolutely loved it, can't recommend highly enough. Big clean rooms, so peaceful and relaxing. Adhi and family were the perfect hosts, our 1 year old daughter especially loved them. Also arranged everything for the Safari. Easy walk into town. If they have space, stay here

The family that run Viveka are just wonderful. The actual property is superb, hidden behind a back road and opening up to a gorgeous rice paddy filled with exotic birds. The gardens that you can chill, sit and eat in are also so beautiful. We saw turtles in their river, it was really cool. The Safari they booked for us was AMAZING. Our guide was the first one at any leopard siting and just absolutely blew us away. We cannot recommend booking safari through Viveka enough. Our safari guide was called Sule.

A lovely, private cabin overlooking rice paddies. The room is spacious, the internet fast and it has a TV. The owner has a great safari connection - Ishuru Day Safari Tours- and the room has a great handwritten recommendation book. We loved it here.
