Do not hesitate to book this accomodation! Rooms are to a very very high standard - spacious room, plenty of space to store luggage, solid desk/chair, beautiful balcony with comfortable chairs and stunning sea & sunset views, large four poster bed with clean linen and comfortable, good AC. Overall the room is just high spec with high quality materials and furniture used. Bathroom too was to the same high standard - stone floor, large sink and mirror, good shower with hot water if desired. Cannot fault the room at all. Staff all super friendly and smiling all the time. Breakfast, Sri lankan or western, was very good too. I had sri lankan each day which was always delicious. Free purified water on tap in the communal area. You can walk into Mirissa around 15 mins along a busy ish road, or grab a tuk, there's plenty of them. Best stay I had in 3 weeks, and very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again travelling solo or with a partner.

• The family were totally friendly and helped us with our suitcases • The location was great! On the other side of the street you will find the turtle beach (we saw turtles there!) • Great view from the balconies - it’s a lot of green and we saw monkeys there • The price was amazing! • the free shower gel smells good

The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and has air conditioning, fridge, mosquito net, hair dryer and shampoo. It's about a 7 minute walk to the beach, same to the city on the main street. It's about half an hour to coconut tree hill. The host communicated with us via Booking and responded quickly, when we needed a ride in heavy rain to the center of the main street (around the corner basically), he took us by tuktuk free of charge. Our host recommended a company for a whale watching trip. The host lent us a spoon when we bought yoghurt at the accommodation and didn't realise we didn't have cutlery. Breakfast was big and tasty. Great value for the price, helpful host, very nice and clean accomodation. Good wifi.

When we put a discount, we got the room for less money. A very complete room and a bathroom, a very delicious full breakfast, a very friendly staff, a very fast fiber internet facility is also available here, we wanted to stay another day but we couldn't, this is a place that can be recommended to anyone coming to Mirissa.

Room was clean and comfortable....only 10 min walk to the beach. Room owner, Heshan was one of the most wonderful people we met in SriLanka. He arranged for whale watching at a very competitive price almost 20-30% lower than the price quoted by other boatsmen and he himself dropped us to the boat on his tuktuk. The room also comes with a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, cooking stove etc.,

Breakfast was incredible. The best Sri Lankan breakfasts we had. Our hosts were super attentive making sure we were topped up on tea and breakfast foods. Stayed there for four days and had a different breakfast each morning to our delight. Our host also noted we weren't a fan of Papaya and stopped giving those on fruit platters and provided alternatives without asking. Clean rooms, hot water, a short walk outside of town so nice and quiet. Really great value for money. The sweetest hosts.

Very nice staff, especially the father who was always cheerful and did everything he could to ensure that we had a good time at all times. Was shown a beach (not secret beach) on which we were completely alone. Beautiful view (and sunset) and good Sri Lankan breakfast.

    The nicest host family imaginable is running this very nice home stay. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Plenty of restaurants, etc. close by, but make sure to also eat in their own little restaurant - very good classic Sri Lankan food. Very close to the beach, main street, whale watching expeditions, etc.

    I stayed here for two nights with my family. I liked the warmth of the host family. The uncle and aunt were very kind. At our request, they prepared a vegetarian dinner for us at a reasonable price. I would recommend this homestay. It is located right next to the beach and coconut hill. P.S. I am very touched by the hand-woven cap that the auntie prepared and gave to my daughter on departure. Thank you very much.
