Definitely the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Pradeep and his family - his little daugther tia was so cute - were super welcoming and taught us a lot about the Sri Lankan culture, the farm life and much more. The sunset tour and the farm tour were a big bonus! The food was delicious, the pool was the perfect cool down after a hot day. Also a very big shout out to Deshani, who was super friendly and answered all our questions, always with the biggest smile - fell like talking to a friend! We are definitely coming back soon!

An absolutely outstanding stay on a peaceful and familiar place. The host and his family is so kindly helpful and provide us with a lot of interesting information about the country, culture and things to do. We loved the discussions with him and took the chance to learn about the Srilankian kitchen during common cooking of the delicious food with him and his family. We had an absolute brilliant stay! The room and surrounding is great, location to Dambulla caves are walking distance (5 min away). The host family is just amazing! Really feels like they give more that 100% to the place - so many great details in the room and the place. We also had an amazing rice and curry for dinner and also got it vegan which was awesome! Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka!

Some of the kindest hosts we've ever stayed with! Anu and her family do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Anu's mother is an amazing cook and the breakfast (which is included) is traditional Sri Lankan and super delicious and there's almost too much of it, you will never leave hungry! The same goes for the dinner which is also strongly recommended. The terrace is super nice, with a view of the garden where monkeys and other animals sometimes come to visit. The location is good with just a short walk to the cave temples, the city center or the bus terminal. The room was basic but spacious and clean, and the bed had a mosquito net. We will definitely come back if we're in Dambulla again someday and will recommend everyone to stay here!

We have only good memories from our stay at Roy's place. The room is modern, clean and had very good big bed. Big bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, cattle, fan, so in the room was very comfortable. The breakfast is serving at a terrace and it was very delicious - Srilankian, but not very spicy (as we asked) and I strongly recommend home made dinner from this family - I'm already miss it :) Right in front of home there is a fantastic rock, where you can observe the city and see sunset. Roy were also very nice and helping, and took us to the bus station.

Hotel located in a quiet area, but not far from the center. Spacious room and bathroom. It was our cleanest room during our entire stay in Sri Lanka! Water in the shower with good pressure and hot. The owner is very nice, he has his own tuk-tuk and offered us free transport several times. We got a delicious juice as a welcome. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!

We traveled from a Sri Lankan friend's house in the east and it felt like we never left the family hospitality. Rooms are private, clean and comfortable and the host is amazing, she offered to cook us dinner and made us an INCREDIBLE breakfast before we left. She loaned us sahris to cover up for the temple caves which is only a short walk from the homestay.

Everything you could ask for in a homestay! Wicky and Anusha are kind and friendly hosts- I spent lovely moments with them in the kitchen learning new cooking techniques and sharing stories with lots of laughs.
