The room was cozy and clean, there was hot water. The view is stunning. The host family and especially the mother are really cordial, caring and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay there. I was not pressured to leave at a certain time and was given my time and privacy. Highly recommend.

That’s the best hostel we stayed in Sri Lanka 😊 They organised us a tuk tuk to go to Horton plains for a very reasonable price and you can also eat in the hostel, they serve a big buffet that it’s impossible to finish. The terrace is a nice place to chill and there is birds, lizards and monkeys around. They also very nice family with a friendly dog.

Mahamed and Fatima are the most wonderful hosts, and there is no doubt they enjoy having guests, and want their guests to be as comfortable as possible. They made our stay truly memorable, and I wish we had time to stay longer. I will for sure be back, this place comes highly recommended from me! Surroundings are gorgeous, hiking on every corner, it's quiet and calm, and you will eat like a queen with Fatima's food (she should have a restaurant). I haven't eaten that well in all of Sri Lanka, and it's been my most pleasant stay. If you are into nature, mental relaxation, great food, and slowing down a bit, do make sure to book at least two/three nights with them, and just enjoy!

Definitely our best accommodation in Sri Lanka. Both the room and the bathroom are super clean, comfortable, and well maintained - extra points for the high water pressure and hot water. I had an amazing stay here and truly felt like part of the family. The hosts were incredibly warm, caring and always made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Their hospitality was exceptional and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The family is very kind and genuine — the son took us on a beautiful hike and guided us through the nature trails, sharing interesting stories and local knowledge. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The father also offers city tours, and he made sure we got to see the best places while learning the history and culture of the area. They really go out of their way to help their guests enjoy the stay to the fullest. The home was clean, comfortable and peaceful. You can feel the love and effort they put into maintaining their place and treating guests like close friends.
