Mohan is not just an apartment owner. He became our friend. We are happy to met him! Mohan is very interesting and wise man. He likes his business very much! He told us about his family history and also about himself and his hobbies. One of his hobbies is Karaoke singing! We spent the evening in singing the songs. He sang mostly, of course, but on My Way I couldn't resist and helped him😁 At the end of the evening, my wife and I sang our traditional folk song for him. The review would be unfair if all the impressions of the stay were reduced only to the owner. Mohan studied hospitality in the UK, and after that he worked in famous hotels in the UK and Sri Lanka. He follows the same rules in his apartment. The room is perfectly clean, pre-cooled with air conditioning. The balcony overlooks the river and the various birds that live there. We saw some parrots. A comfortable bed, a refrigerator, cool drinking water - everything leads to a good rest for body and soul. Every breakfast at Mohan's house is a masterpiece. Be sure to try this wonderful 5-course breakfast with fruits, toast, jams, scrambled eggs, vegetables and coffee or tea.

Me and one of my office colleague stayed at house of sincerity for three nights and I must say the place is really comfy. The place is so close to Maharagama town ( just walking distance to Wattegedara junction) and our stay was really great. The room has a pantry with gas cooker, microwave, mini fridge and other cooking stuffs which was really helpful. Akil, the owner is so supportive, friendly and assures the safety of the tenants. Will defenitly choose the place in future as well.

Welcoming and calm. Highbury Colombo is like a sea of tranquility. Manuji and her husband are attentive hosts and the space with garden is really beautiful. My room was excellent and food (lunch and breakfast the next day) was delicious. Highly recommend this place

A true gem! This boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. The interior design is absolutely stunning. The interior of this property is super relaxing complete with table tennis and darts options if you’re wanting to play some games.     Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

    Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend
