The owner and his wife are local and really helpful with sorting out whatever you need. We ended up renting his van last minute to do a trip down to the Annah Rais longhouse and hot springs. The private room was comfortable and the place has a lot of character. It's right by a bunch of great restaurants, including, one of my favorite - Rice King.

I really enjoyed my stay. Richard, the host, was very kind. He send us a lot of useful information with what to do in Kuching and was always willing to help. I forgot my T-shirt in the hostal and he did everything he could to return it to me! Thank you very much Richard!

Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were nice and always ready to help. The toilet was clean, which is something I always look for. The room was comfortable, and everything inside was well-maintained. It had all the basics I needed for a hassle-free stay. Would definitely come back!

I stayed here for over 2 months and cannot express enough how perfect my stay has been. Zak thinks of everything before you even realise you need it yourself. Little things like making sure the light is turned on in the hall for when you arrive home or wake up early, or a roti on the table for you at breakfast. This place really felt like home. Zak offers trips and tours too, and tailors them to whatever it is you want to get from your visit to this beautiful place. Whether you want to tour every day, or you need a place to rest a while, or you are a digital nomad...this place is perfect for everyone. I had an excellent staying at the Jazepuri -jaze 2!!! The location is the best because it is very neat to the boat station called jetty and i could pass the opposite side of the river where there are all the main buildings for a visitor of Kuching...and it's also a very calm and quiet place with nice houses and gardens... The house is very cozy,clean with homely furniture..the garden is full of plants very well maintained..there is also a nice terrace where i had nice time doing my yoga and meditation....my room had fresh air, nice garden view, large and convenient...the bathroom is also very comfortable.. But the best of all is the family,the owners.. very polite, very helpful, very good willing.. Mr Zack helped me to make a plan and adviced me how to visit all the interesting places around Kuching...he wrote down all the details i needed to know!!! He is also a very good guid and we visited together a famous and amazing jungle place : Bengoh Dam Tour !!! It's a very must tour..i suggest to everyone go there! you will see the real jungle!most of all i enjoyed the bamboo bridges ,the waterfalls ,the lake view! I have to mention that sometimes mr Jack picked me up when I was late and no Grab around...i am very grateful to them... thank you so much..i will come back with many friends from Greece to explore Sarawak guided by mr Zack.. No hi

Zack is a great host. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent communication, suggestions and guidance. We had a great time and really enjoyed 2 of his tours where he looked after us very well. Room large and clean, good bathroom and excellent communal facilities. I would highly recommend Zacks place and hope to return. Good local food nearby too.
