What a man he is Mr. Saqlain Sb owning a hotel named "Stay is Skardu". His cooperation & facilities are exceptional since picking from the airport till your departure/check out from the hotel, transport services are also available within a reasonable prices. I strongly recommend the visitors to contact Mr saqlain to avail the best/reasonable service in skardu.

This is a real friendly guest house which has great service and a good atmosphere. The rooms are really clean well maintained and up to scratch. Recommend to anyone that its a good place to stay at very reasonable rates.I visit pakistan frist time and its wonderful experience meeting with local people,Speically the family own the guest house is very kind with guest specially Forigeners , The manager guide us properly about the places which we need to visit within limited days ,They arrange car and other necessary things which we need during over stay.Tahnks HIKK Inn Guest Team.

Don't know from where should I start. But lets try to give this place a review what it truly deserves. I m Salman from Lahore and I visited Skardu for the first time ever with my family of 4. Had no prior experience, relation or any guidance regarding Skardu as no close friend of mine visited it. Fortunately I found this property on Booking.com in a very reasonable price with no other property offering this price which had verified reviews from Foriegners. As soon as i booked it on Booking.com, Engr Tahir (Owner of the resthouse) messaged me on my Whatsapp and guided me each and everything in detail regarding all the tour itinerary. He guided everything in detail, & after talking to him I had this feeling of trusting this guy blindly as he talked in a very friendly manner. I took a leap of faith by completely relying on him & came to Skardu where Tahir bhai came to pick up on his personal car. Keeping everything aside, the hospitality of the whole team of Golden Ibex Guest House which includes Mr Tahir, Mr Jaffar, Mr Arif and Mr Abid was of the highest level which anyone cant even imagine of. The rates of Room and rent a car offerred to us by Tahir bhai was lowest in whole Skardu and were worth every penny. Rooms were comfortable, 24/7 support by Abid,Arif,Jaffar bhai was no greater than a blessing and we faced no issue. They even sourced a big heater known as (Bukhari) and made sure we stayed comfortable. High Speed WIFI and Hot water availability all the time was outstanding. Jaffar Bhai had been super hospitable as he was our travel guide too during the sight seeings. He literally arranged Skardu local traditional dishes welcome for us in his house and made sure not a single inconvenience is caused to us. I would blindly recommend to go for this rest house for this awesome experience. The amount of love, comfort and hospitality we recieved from here is something we would miss it our whole life. <3

Our 3-night stay at Taj Residence Skardu was truly a highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The host treated us like family, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The garden was absolutely stunning—full of vibrant flowers and the perfect place to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—ideal for two friends traveling together. What made our experience truly special was the host’s personal touch. He not only arranged our tour car and helped us plan our itinerary, but also took the time to share the rich culture, history, and daily life of the Skardu region. It gave our trip a deeper meaning and left us with lasting memories. Overall, Taj Residence offers excellent value for money, but even more importantly, it offers a heartfelt connection to the place and its people. Highly recommended!

The manager arsalan managed the property well. He was so approachable and very welcoming all the time. Although there was an electricity breakdown but as long as the it was available I had hot water facility. Room was cozy and not very cold.

A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Mountain Face Guest House was simply amazing. The hospitality of Mr. Sana Ullah and his son Haseeb made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We even cooked our own meals, and Haseeb was always there to assist us — just like a family member. The environment was warm and friendly, with breathtaking views all around. The guest house is beautifully nestled among mountains and greenery, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city rush. One of the best parts is that Manthal Buddha Rock is just a 15-minute walk from the guest house — a perfect short hike to an amazing historical site. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Make sure to try the local breakfast — it’s fresh, delicious, and a great way to start your day. Would definitely love to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu!

    Spent 4 nights at Sehrish and had an amazing stay. Mazhar and Azhar were great hosts. Mazhar took us on tours 3 different days in the jeep and we saw lots of highlights of Skardu. Highly recommend this hotel and tour agency!
