We loved our days at Casa Luar, it was so calm and relaxing. The suite was big enough and had a mini fridge. The toilet was big and clean. The view was beautiful and the pool was amazing . The area is very calm, you can reach the little villa of Carvoeiro by foot . We would stay in the same place again !

Very friendly staff at check-in (a Spanish-speaking lady), very polite male receptionist with great customer service while collecting keys (a Portuguese gentleman) and during the stay and check out (another Portuguese gentleman). It’s a perfect alternative to a hostel. Same price but with your private space and bathroom. My room was big and with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly. When I arrived the room and the bathroom were clean as well as the towels and the bed sheets (there is no daily cleaning but for me is not a problem). Soap, shower gel and shampoo were also provided, that is a huge plus. The two windows gave on the main street and on one side it was possible to see the water from the Ribeirinha area in the morning. Perfectly central location and very friendly and kind staff. They are always there for whatever you need. The kitchen is very big and well furnished: 2 kitchen stoves, 2 sinks, 3 fridges, many tables to sit. I spent a week here and I could have stayed even longer.
