The location of Thira House is excellent. Though not directly on the beach, its peaceful setting and a short 3-minute walk to the scenic Karon Beach make it a worthwhile place to stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are equally impressive—very clean, pleasantly scented, and spacious. The amenities stand out as exceptional. On the ground floor, there’s a mini kitchen where you can prepare a quick snack, and a coffee counter offering free cookies and toffees to enjoy with your coffee. A small library, complete with a selection of good novels, provides a relaxing way to pass the time. The hotel also supplies free umbrellas, perfect for shielding yourself from Phuket’s intense tropical heat and sun. Conveniently, Thira House is located near a Go-Go Bus stop. This affordable bus service connects you to key attractions like Phuket Old Town, Wat Chalong Temple, and Kata Noi Beach, with departures every half hour—an added bonus for easy exploration. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. During our stay, the receptionist offered invaluable guidance, helping us navigate Phuket, save on cab fares by recommending the Go-Go Bus, and suggesting lesser-known but worthwhile places to visit. The hotel also offers a well-organized Phi Phi Islands Tour, which includes everything: hotel pickup and drop-off, national park fees, breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The rooms deserve special mention. They are impeccably maintained, with stylish interiors and high-quality furniture. Each room comes equipped with a safe, microwave, hairdryer, television, and a large balcony with pleasant views. Guests receive four complimentary bottles of water daily throughout their stay, and you can refill your bottles for free at the mini kitchen as much as you want. The bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, adding to the overall convenience.
