Luckily I am able to get the room after a short while. This is good! However, the staff is busy doing the cleaning and I am unable to ask her anything about Hengchun or paid the room charge before I left the room. When I came back after dinner, I finally met someone that I can speak to, paid the room charge and borrow a knife and plate. That is a bonus. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable. The location was quiet, within an easy walk to the Hengchun Old Street, Night Market (Sunday only), and Bus Transfer Station. But the star of the homestay was the hostess, who was cheerful and friendly. She was prompt in communicating and provided tips on nearby attractions and activities.
