Stayed the night before ascending Jade Mountain (玉山). We reached fairly late and waited quite awhile for the staff to come because they had assumed we weren't coming- phone numbers given weren't reachable and we had to look around various parts of the property. Otherwise the room itself was really comfortable and the rest of the stay was great.

Habitat Heart B&B is located in Lugu, 13 km from Lotus Forest, 17 km from Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area, and 21 km from Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park.

Nice Japanese style new looking room, very spacious and clean and big balcony. Walkable from bus stop and very peaceful and serene setting. Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful in asking breakfast preferences and offering a lift to the bus stop. Very sweet two dogs too. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially during firefly season :)

Alishan B&B YunMinGi has an one-level traditional lovely Taiwanese house and a beautiful contemporary 5-story building, both are connected by a short walkway.

This beautiful hotel is set high in the mountains, surrounded by fields of tea bushes. The staff were really helpful and set up a WhatsApp chat with me that helped with directions, places to eat and things to do. Each interaction included photos of the route might have been tricky. Our rooms were large and clean with nice bathrooms and cosy beds. The views were spectacular. We only had 2 nights here so didn't go out to the viewing spots in the Alishan recreational area, choosing instead to watch the sunset and sunrise from the property's roof or our balcony. It was perfect. We ate at the hotel. The hotpot was a selection of vegetables, fish and meat with a stockpot on a burner. It was good fun and delicious. We ate somewhere different the second night, but in hindsight should have eaten at the hotel again. I wish we'd had longer because the trekking routes around the hotel looked lovely.

The facilities are not incredible, but it was really made up for by the loveliest people and an authentic experience. Thank you for all the delicious fruit you gave me and making me feel so welcome.

What a wonderful host...sharing, caring and really engaged with great English. The perfect location, right in the middle of Feniqhu Old Street, and you can park a bike there no problem. Highly recommend!

Literally the cheapest stay I could find in my 4 nights in Alishan. Strong dehumidifier that could blow dry my clothing in a night!!!! Outdoor terrance that you can chill at night.
