I have been visited tons of accomodation all around the world, and Vam Xang Rustic is definitively the top one under all point of views. The whole environment is awesome, both daytime and nightime. You will be simply surrounded by the nature of the Mekong Delta, living in rooms built in a traditonal way, for both spaces and materials. Rooms are awesome (external and internal areas), with a perfect cleaniness of all spaces and housekeeping Service in general. The service provided by the entire Staff is memorable and they go everytime the extra mile to feel guests comfortable and to help them in all kind of questions, without being annoying. For what concerns the excursion by boat - the service experienced was really fantastic and couldn't ask for more. Bycicles are also available for free and in very good conditions to explore the Mekong countryside autonomously. If you go in the Mekong Delta area of Can Tho you simply need to book with Vam Xang Rustic and don't look further as it is an outstanding experience of Mekong Delta at a very reasonable price for the full set of service provided!

Bamboo Eco Village was our final stop in Vietnam, and we had everything we could have hoped for here: a beautiful garden, a stunning pool to cool off in, a restaurant with a wide variety of delicious options at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tour was interesting. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended.

The traditionally constructed little bungalows are in a quiet area of Can Tho where you can still hear the sounds of nature. One sleeps so well in a comfortable bed under a mosquito net in a garden wth fruit trees. So much better than all those airconditioned concrete buildings. The host is amazing. Takes care of his guests like a sheperd of his herd. A great breakfast and dinner are included in the price. The host's mother is cooking and lets you taste local food in daily variations. The vegetables and fruits used - also for the fruit juices - are of very best quality. We also liked the tour to the floating market offered, and even more the walk over the land market - one of the most interesting and colourful food markets in the area. The host calls you taxis even when you are outside and want to come back. Speaks very good English. Would come back at any time.

The owner family was absolutely amazing. They helped me in everything and gave me great suggestions. The room was huge and well equipped. Exactly as on the photos. This was the only place in Vietnam where I got the rented scooter full with petrol, and obviously I brought back full. But it's easier to manage as you don't have to calculate how much petrol you are going to use.

Bosa, Phoenix and their two sons are the most fantastic hosts. We had an exceptional few days in their home. The food, the company, the attentiveness.. everything was amazing. The went out of their way to make our stay great, helped us with booking taxis, renting scooter and also offer a tour of the floating markets. We also had such a lovely time with the other guests, the layout of the dining area makes it easy to interact with others over the delicious meals Phoenix makes. If youre looking for a nature filled, authentic vietnamese homestay - look no further.

Tuan is a wonderful host! Kind, helpful, funny and hooked on karaoke 😄. Visiting the floating market, having a “river food” breakfast on the boat, and shopping for food with him in the Can tho market was a great and unforgettable experience.

The most welcoming owner I've ever experienced. She and her family did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, arranged transports, meals around our planned activities, helped with further travel routes, etc. The booked tour for the floating market was of the same quality and kindness. I can recommend to use both the available free bikes and boats to explore side rivers on your own. The location was perfect, the only accomodation we saw in this area, no karaoke activity around, but a local shop around the corner for small snacks inbetween. I would definitely come here again!

The stay at Ms Ha's house was amazing because she was such a great host! The room we stayed in was very basic but we stayed only for one night so we did not really care. The best part was the tour we did with Ms Ha, that starts at 3.40 AM and lasts until 11AM. She showed us the floating martket and surrounding villages. Everything was very fun, I would definitely recommend!

Thanks to the family for sharing such lovely rooms with us. The house is new and beautiful, with an elevator. The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.

Jimmy and his family are super nice! They welcomed us very warmly into their home, which is cosy and convenient as it is just a grab 9 km away from Can Tho city and yet out of the urban chaos. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean with all amenities (including air conditioner and ventilator). The private balcony is so nice, he also has a very big balcony for BBQ together, super nice. Jimmy, as manager of Mekong Experience, organised a nice half-day tour for us, which included a wander around one of the floating markets, a visit to a family-run noodle factory, and then a boat ridealong the river of the Spring Forest where there was plenty of birds of different species, and the rice harvest was in progress. Perhaps the pace of the different activities was a bit tight but overall it was a really good experience, not least because Jimmy was really dedicated (before, after and during the tour) to make us eat typical dishes in non-touristy places, which is something we really appreciate! The best place was a little diner in the middle of the countryside, where we arrived by bike, again thanks to Jimmy who arranged the bike rental for us and gave us directions to this family-run niche along the river. It was so great to be able to see how the locals live along the Meekong and such a unique experience to have in Vietnam. The food cooked by Tuan and the home stay was a highlight!     Our 1 week stay at Farmer Homestay was the absolute highlight of our 11 weeks in Vietnam from mid December 2023 until end of February 2024. We were lucky and honored to be able to spend Tet Holiday with the host family and loved every minute of it - we have made friends for life ❤️

    This is a lovely place with a lovely host family. The market tour is very good, especially the part on land. In the evening you cook what you told Tuan to buy in the morning. Lots of delicious food, lots of things we never saw! A very comfortable pool. We were there on Christmas and Tuan ordered a Caraoke machine. We had lots of fun!

    This homestay is really homey and has very pleasant decoration! The family is very peaceful and the host helped me so much booking buses and everything I wanted to do, and finding good food. I felt very much at home here. The homestay is in a quiet area but you can bike anywhere with the free bikes they lend you. Thanks so much for having me and being great hosts!!! <3
