He also gave us lots of information about where to eat, and even that there was a mass for Santiago pilgrims in the church nearby. The room was spacious, and the hot shower was heavenly! There was even a bath!

Great value ... Don't let the title "hostel" fool you. This is super comfortable, clean, great hosts with a small bar and restaurant. If you need a stop over close to the ferry at Santander, I don't think La Llave can be beat. Plus an excellent 5/6 km walk from the hotel if you have the time.
