The location is further out, away from the relative chaos of Ubud. There is an active temple just at the end of the street, which provides one with the feeling of living amongst true Balinese culture.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had limited variety, but it was really delicious. The pool area was fantastic. We could enjoy most of the time alone.

Lovely staff (thanks Dewa and the others!), very helpful, great services The place is as per the pictures, clean, well maintained and calm. I disagree with some previous comments mentioning it's difficult to find. The location on Google map is correct and crystal clear. Just trust it. Some comments are referring to "aggressive" stray dogs on the street to reach the place. These are not related to Hanaka and, anyway, they are just making noise when you pass buy but are not aggressive. Nothing to worry about, just keep walking. There is an Indomaret almost next door as well as another small shop if you need quick supply

The location is also really central but still nice and quiet, away from traffic noise. Loved it!
