The property has sea and mountain views, and is 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The guest house features family rooms. Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

It is located 11 km from Lake Kawaguchi and provides a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of a garden. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed, but what really made our experience special was the hospitality of the owner. They went above and beyond by picking us up from the station when we arrived and even taking us back on our last day, helping with our luggage and giving us a lovely send-off. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Such kindness and care are rare to find – highly recommend staying here!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

Fun vibes, great rooms, communal atmosphere, great food, staff were very accommodating to requests.

The property is set 31 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza, 33 km from Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall and 1.4 km from Echizen Daibutsu. The property offers soundproof units and is situated 31 km from Phoenix Plaza. Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

Unlike other places I've stayed it had a very homely feel to it. The guest rooms were upstairs and there was a fridge that we could use and take drinks from for a coin donation. There was a music room where my friends and I stayed up late chatting. The hosts offered to make us breakfast (to my shock they had gf options). After a delicious breakfast they dropped us off at the airport. このホテルは美しかったです。行ったよかったです。

Qell where do I start, everything was PERFECT, I have been 6 weeks on the road in japan, hotels, etc, driving a rental car , and staying at lots of places , this is the best, the beautiful lady who runs this bnb is just a gem, I wish I could put her in my suitcase and take her home!!!😀😀😀, place was lovely, air con food, bathroom good, bedding perfect, location awesome, nice and quiet, but, this lady I have to say was one of the most beautiful human beings I've met...Stay here you won't be disappointed at all...
