The guest house features family rooms. I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Parasol dore is a recently renovated guest house in Dickwella, where guests can take a dip in its infinity pool and make the most of its free WiFi, private beach area and water sports facilities. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a garden. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We have truly loved our stay at Parasol Dore. Jeremy, Julie and the rest of the staff are amazing, the rooms and house are very well-decorated and the view is fantastic. Thanks!

Situated within 200 metres of Weligama Beach and 28 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium in Weligama, Boutique Villa Bougainvillea provides accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. We stayed here for 3 nights off-season and we really happy that we booked this hotel. Because it’s one of the few places that we really enjoyed in Weligam in May. Nice location , clean rooms and polite staff. Special thanks to owners Mr. and Mrs. Dias, they were very nice to us.

The rooms are big, clean and spacious. The bed is huge with a mosquito net, windows that open and such a spacious garden, washing machine that works and a small kitchen, what a place. Felt home from Holland. Really good! Excellent even. In the evening it's quiet, WiFi is good!

The room was new, clean, and beautifully designed. The lush garden featured a charming hammock and swing, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming. We can ask delicious local breakfast based on our preferences, and the owner's coffee was simply outstanding. Essentials like bath towels and toilet paper were provided. The property was a wildlife haven, with two adorable dogs and frequent visits from monkeys, birds, and squirrels. Convenience was key—supermarkets, restaurants, and beaches were all within walking distance. The motorbike rental service significantly expanded my exploration possibilities. His warm family—always smiling and incredibly kind—made the stay truly memorable. His mom even cooked curry for us. It was delicious. An unexpected delight was discovering the owner, Amila, speaks fluent Japanese. He generously shared insights about Sri Lankan culture, making this more than just a accommodation, but a cultural experience. Highly recommended!
