Located just down the road from the National Park so it's the most perfect resting spot either before or after a Safari. You cannot really describe the tranquility and peaceful ambiance of this hotel, it is incredible! The rooms are immaculately clean, really comfortable and well presented. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and were so kind and friendly to both us and our children. The hotel has a fantastic pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. The food is some of the best that we have tasted whilst travelling Sri Lanka, completely delicious and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast. The value for money is excellent and you get the feel of high end at a really reasonable price. I'd say that this hotel is a must stay whilst visiting this area. We plan to return on our next trip. At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The hotel is very clean and comfortable in lovely surroundings. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. The owner of the hotel is a friendly a kind person. He made sure I knew about walking around the lake, he can help with booking the safari tour. He even made sure I got on the correct bus to Ella by walking me to the correct bus stop and waiting with me. He also checked that I arrived safely at my destination. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!
