We didn't give it a 10 only because we found the price a bit on the high side compared to all the other places we stayed at during our 24 days road trip.

In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. This is a beautiful place quietly located a couple blocks from the main square. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise and enjoying a delightful breakfast from the rooftop balcony. This place radiates a warm and welcoming appeal and I found the bed very comfortable. Although I don't speak French or Darija, we were able to communicate effectively (partly with a translation app) and he was extremely hospitable and accommodating. I also found the area very nice to explore on foot and met many very friendly people around the city.

The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

Featuring city views, Kasbah Maktob Tamnougalt in Agdz provides accommodation and a garden. The property was built in 1933 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The guest house features a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. This was probably the best place my family and I have ever stayed. It was so romantic and atmospheric it had a dreamlike or filmic quality about it (which is apt because I was told by a guide who took us around the ruins of the ruins of the fortified village that it had been used as a set for films starring Brad Pitt, George Cluney, and various others!) Mustapha is an amazing person, a true hero to have rebuilt this historic Kasbah with his own hands over years. The palmerie and views are second to none, and the breakfast, hospitality and food were amazing. Next time we will stay longer.

There was really good vibe at the place, the staff were really nice and in good spirits. The food was plentiful and good. The room was warm, since we were there in the winter. The sheets and blankets were fresh and the beds were comfortable.

Such a warm welcome with Moroccan tea and a lovely garden area with lots of seating and places to sit. We only stayed one night and Mohamed cooked us an amazing meal - soup, tagine and a lovely yogurt desert, all inside by the log fire as the temperature dropped at night. We were also very pleased with breakfast - a selection of pastries and bread, tea or coffee and yogurt. This was a perfect stay for us.
