They went out of their way to help us find an adapter we needed, and little touches like complimentary coffee and dates always available at the reception made us feel incredibly at home. The terrace offers a stunning view which is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or for enjoying sunrise. The guesthouse itself is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated in traditional Omani style, and has everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of old Nizwa. You can easily walk to the souq, the fort, and all the main attractions. It’s also just a short stroll from where the Mwasalat Muscat–Nizwa buses drop you off. This was truly one of the most memorable stays of my life. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the comfort...everything was perfect. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Nizwa. Highly, highly recommended!

Ahmed gave us a tour through the „museum“ of the house which was really special and interesting. The rooms were tastefully decorated in line with the history of this magical place. Dinner was great as well. The gardens of Misfah are a magical place and Transport you back in time. A must stop-over in Oman and good overnight place for hiking the balcony walk.

It’s a beautiful traditional house with a scenic terrace, where very good breakfast and dinner is served. The owner is very helpful, and makes one feel welcome and appreciated.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. We stayed there for one night which was perfect. Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms in traditional style and nice breakfast and dinner. The vegetarian offer for dinner could be a little more but it was fine anyway. We also went to the museum with the owner which was super interesting! The visitor parking (for Al Misfah) is a 7 minutes walk to the inn. It's also possible to park on the street close to the inn, but the streets are pretty tight.
