The owner even gifted each of us beautiful bukhoor before we left and waved us goodbye until we were out of sight. It felt like leaving family. They went out of their way to help us find an adapter we needed, and little touches like complimentary coffee and dates always available at the reception made us feel incredibly at home. The terrace offers a stunning view which is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or for enjoying sunrise. The guesthouse itself is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated in traditional Omani style, and has everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of old Nizwa. You can easily walk to the souq, the fort, and all the main attractions. It’s also just a short stroll from where the Mwasalat Muscat–Nizwa buses drop you off. This was truly one of the most memorable stays of my life. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the comfort...everything was perfect. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Nizwa. Highly, highly recommended!

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and bicycle parking for guests. First of all I want to appreciate our hospitable host Hossein, he is a welcoming gentleman that we felt we're in our home. The guesthouse is located in a tranquil and peaceful area , however it's in walking distance to attractions such as Fort and Nizwa Souq! Also he suggested us some places to visit in the way back Muscat which was a great suggestion.

From the hospitality of the manager who greeted us to the beautiful room in a historical house!

The house is beautiful, the rooftop is the most beautiful one we have seen in Oman. The owner is superfriendly, the breakfast was really good and the location perfect for visiting the mountains, Misfah, Jabreen, Bahla... Really recommended!

45 km from Nizwa Fort, Bait Al Aali Guesthouse is located in Al Ḩamrāʼ and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property features quiet street views. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Beautifully renovated classic Omani house. It was our favourite place we stayed during our trip in Oman, and hope to be back again soon. Great dinner and incredible breakfast spread. Owner gave us good local recommendations of what to see in and around Al Hamra. Locally-sourced and all natural soaps in the bathrooms were a perfect added touch. Would recommend this as a must stay for any friends who ask for recommendations for Oman!

Situated in Al Ḩamrāʼ, 44 km from Nizwa Fort, Alqalah Inn features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. This guest house also has a heated pool. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.

Certain units at the homestay feature a fireplace and a heated pool. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries.

The area is popular for hiking, and free use of bicycles is available at the homestay. An indoor play area is also available for guests at 228Hostel. Mahmood was a fantastic host and made us feel very at home. He has a lot of knowledge about the area and is more than willing to share it. He also has a bike that you are able to ride around town with if you want to.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Fantastic location and hosts, if you go to Oman you need to visit this place, do not miss it.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We loved the stay at Achmad‘s stay! It’s a beautiful traditional house with a scenic terrace, where very good breakfast and dinner is served. The owner is very helpful, and makes one feel welcome and appreciated.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. Amazing Omani hospitality, I can only recommend it!
