The room we rented was large, extremely well furnished with high quality new furnishings. The bed was very comfortable as was the large attractive sofa. The bathroom was again large with a very efficient shower with plenty of hot water day and night. The A/C was well placed and cooled the room in the high temperatures which were raging outdoors without blowing the cold blasts over the bed. Breakfast was a revelation, quite honestly one of the best we’ve had in our various journeys with fresh fruit and tomatoes straight from the owners garden, a selection of meat, cheeses, omelets, yoghurts and cereals, juices, coffee and teas : very generous and greatly appreciated. We stayed here whilst walking the Alpe Adria trail. It had everything we needed and was clearly a favourite of the locals. Unfortunately we'd already eaten so didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg were the best of our holiday. They grew their own apricots and made wine. They left a couple of bottles in the room to sample on the house and they were delicious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Reminded me of the warmth I used to get from my grandparents, and that is saying something. Such a cozy property, too. Has everything that you need. Don't forget to try their wines. Both red and white. Unfortunately, I couldn't spend much time this time around, but I'll be going back in September when I'll do 2 week Slovenia trip. Grapes harvesting season :D
