absolutely loved this hostel! probably the best I’ve ever been worldwide. The vibes are immaculate and the staff is super friendly and sweet. The outdoor shower is a must and the common areas are great (and pretty clean and try) to hang out with your mates! Only hostel that made me want to stay in all day rather than visit the area

There is easy close access to Cairns Central shopping centre completely opposite Travellers Paradise. There is a really nice pool and big screen television and it is comfortable at Travellers Paradise, and easy close access to nearby shops and businesses and so on and the Cairns city main area.

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided.

I really liked the system that they use to get access to the room, the room for four persons is the most comfortable in my opinion; The crew was really nice, the bathrooms were always availables and the AC in the room was awesome! The ambience in there is cool, I didn't socialize because I was doing some extra activities, but everyone seems happy there. It was a good experience, I completly recommend that hostel.

The location, the staff, the rooms, shared spaces - everything was great! I definitely did not expect that, and this hostel just exceeded my expectations.

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City...

Jack's is fantastic! The outdoor terrace is an awesome place to hang out and meet other travelers. Highly recommend if you're young and sociable!
