The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was great: 10 minutes walking to the main square/10min from the train station. The lounge decor looked like a house living room very inviting and cozy. The kitchen had tea and coffee always available. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were always clean. One of the best hostels I have stayed at.

Great location, the house looks very nice. The hostel has a pub with a large selection of beer. The room is clean and tidy. There is a supermarket not far down the street. The central square is easily accessible on foot.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The hostel is nice but unfortunately they could not accommodate me in the private room I booked. I was offered a shared dormitory room. It was okay so I opted for staying there and I had a good sleep. There weren't any issues. You could lock your valuables in the lockers.

Clean hostel, enough space in the rooms, friendly staff, cheap drinks at the bar. Very useful option to take lunch from the breakfast buffet for an additional fee

Much better than your average youth hostel. Needing to take your own towels (bizarely still standard in International Hostelling) and the lino floor were the only real downers, but it was very clean. Well placed for beaches, port and town centre. Firendly receptionists. Great hostel kithchen. Good, hearty breakfast included. Even the huge school group from UK were remarkably well-behaved. We expected a disturbed night and didn't get one. It was a double room, so no need to cope with a dorm.
