First of all I have to mention that stuff working at hostel was generous and attentive. I booked for one night but soon I decided to extend my stay because room was clean, kitchen was clean and nice, bathroom was also clean and spacious. Additionally, each bed has curtains to keep private and a room I stayed had a AC(this was amazing in hot Sofia) . One last thing. I was taking a night train and needed a place to wait. Usually check-out is strict however, I was allowed to use everything such as fridge, WiFi, sofa, table here. So helpful. I definitely recommend you to choose this hostel when you go to Sofia.

I loved this place and the atmosphere. The guys at the reception were very nice and helpful. The girls in my room were very respectful, I was lucky. Also, the place was very centric and the idea of the hostel about being a quite hostel was the best option for me, as I wanted to sleep and have plenty of time to visit the city during the day.

I booked a private room with a private washroom, located about a 10-minute walk from the main hostel building. While the exterior of the apartment block isn’t the most attractive, the room itself was quite good and looked exactly like the picture—modern, minimalistic, and well-equipped with all the basic amenities like a hot water kettle, hairdryer, towels, and cups. The washroom was quite spacious, though the taps leaked slightly and the shower drain could get a bit clogged. That said, the bed was very comfortable, making for a restful stay. One of the highlights was the staff—super responsive and always available on WhatsApp, which made communication easy and convenient. The room’s location is also excellent, just a 9-minute walk from Vitosha Boulevard, with lots of food and shopping options nearby. Overall, this is a great budget accommodation option with excellent service and comfort. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for affordability without compromising on basic comfort.

Nice warm family atmosphere, Zlata is very nice and supports me when needed. I enjoy staying in a hostel, and I did not feel isolation, as in the hotel. Very good price and flexible. Nearby, walking distance are shops Lidl - 5 min walk, and Bulgaria Mall - 27 min. Walk. I can cook my own food in the kitchen, and keep it in the fridge. I really relax there.
