Hostels in Fernando de Noronha

From the moment of check-in until check-out we enjoyed our stay at Ilha hostel. We were greeted by Alessandre who is one of the owners. He explained everything about the hostel/rules etc and also great to know is that the hostel is working together with touroperators/ diving companies and sometimes they have a better price if you book with the hostel direct instead of with an agency. The hostel also contacted me 3 days before via WhatsApp asking if we wanted to have one bed or two separate beds as both were available and also provided information about excursions, items for rent etc. In addition, the location is great, it is within walking distance from the beaches of Praia do Cachorro, Praia do Meio and Praia de Conceicao. Also, stores, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. We took the bus from the airport to Ilha hostel (which took about 15/20 minutes) and it was 5 Brazilian reais per person and on the way back to the airport we took a taxi which took about 10/15 minutes and was 40 Brazilian reais. Further, if you are interested in diving, the Atlantis Diving Center is next to the hostel which makes it convenient to plan a dive with them. We met also amazing people at the hostel during our stay. We want to thank Alessandre and Katia for their hospitality and for all their help!

The staff is friendly, always willing to provide us with the best experience. The atmosphere is amazing, great people! The breakfast is perfect (fruits, cakes, breads, juices, coffee, milk, cereals etc.), they have a buffet and also prepare some scrumbled eggs and tapioca as per your order.

Dona Ju is such a lovely person! She is like a mom to her guests. The hostel is great! You feel like home as soon as you get in. Very well located, sparkling clean (as I've never seen in any other hostel), and wonderfully well organised. I wish I could stay longer... Obrigada, dona Ju!!!
