Amazing property tucked away in the jungle. Super cool terrace with hammocks and a day bed, and a nice little outdoor kitchen. Eco conscious which I appreciated. Room was huge, plenty of space for 8 beds, even better that most of our stay there was only us 3. No AC, but plenty cool at night with the fan. Two toilets (M/F) and a huge shower in the room. Staff was so friendly.

This hostel is a bit removed from the town of Boipeba so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to be close to restaurants and nightlife. However, with that said, it is sooo peaceful here. Bela, our lovely host, was so sweet and accommodating. Oxe is close to Morere beach which is nice and close-ish to Praia do Bainema which is even nicer. The breakfast served here is delicious (cheesy tapioca with tomatoes, eggs, & onions, fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and sweet bread). the rooms are cleaned thoroughly everyday and the beds were so comfortable - had the best sleep of my trip here. Its social in a mellow, relaxing way but if you want peace and quiet this is definitely the place.

This place is magic! The design is magnificent and unique, super clean, many spaces to enjoy your time or work on your computer, lovely pool area, dining area and super equipped kitchen, the room is top! Cost value ratio is outstanding! Lili the owner is a warm welcoming person and does anything in her power to make your stay optimal, she even waited for me where the boat-bus arrives with her car to pick me up to the hostel. I have very particular restrictions with food and all are met in breakfasts, that's really nice. Also, Gamboa is a great place for a vacation or digital nomading, so calm with great beaches. Super recommended!

Papagaio is obviously one of the best place to stay in the island. It is very comfortable and hosts are very very much friendly and helpful. Rooms and all common places are so clean and the service was great. Location is just in the heart of the island, 5 minutes to the port and 10 min walk to the beaches. Thank you Alvise & Carla & Pedroka for everything! I will visit your great place in some time for sure! Obrigado!

Our stay in this hostel was the best we had in our whole travel! The volunteers and staff were amazing! The breakfast is custom-made and even when we slept in because we partied the night before they left us our breakfast in the fridge! The common areas are unbeatable (pool, tree house, bar, 2 usable kitchens, outdoor gym coming soon) and the room was very clean with air-conditioning. There are always 3 super sweet cats around to cuddle with and every now and then monkeys pass by. The bar has delicious affordable drinks and the restaurant offers amazing and super cheap vegan and vegetarian food! Highly recommend this place!
