Hostels in Guilin

Lovely terrace, owner spoke good english and was very helpful and attentive, i was even invited to join his friends for dinner one night. The food was delicious and biiig portions.

The staff were amazing. They did everything to make guest feel safe and comfortable. They are so kind and friendly, and give guests useful information and advices (they taught me some beautiful parks which have no entrance fee). They also arrange tour if requested. The property was so clean and comfortable. I stayed in the female dormitory room, and there was bunk beds which I felt wide enough, proper air conditioner, perfect hot shower(shared), and so on. I would say everything is managed properly here. I also liked the atmosphere of common space. Location was so good especially for budget travelers. There are several local restaurants where you can eat Guilin rice noodles for just 5~8 yuan. All of them are within 2min walk, and the nearest one is in just 30m or so from the hostel. There is also a small supermarket just next to the hostel, where you can buy drinks or snacks. For sightseeing, Seven Star Park(entrance fee:55 yuan), the largest park in Guilin, is just 2min by walk, and lovely local markets within 3~4min.
