Honestly what is there not to like? I booked last minute and showed up and was treated like family (but not the needy type 😏) I was only going to stay for the night, but the accommodations, location, and staff (which consisted of a lovely German family and extended local family) enticed me to stay a couple more days. (last minute even) They went out of their way to make it happen, and I did have to change rooms (because of my last minute choice) but the entire experience was awesome. the rooms (both of them were comfortable,clean, there was hot water and there was wildlife everywhere. I woke up and outside my door was a young sloth mulling about and feeding. Best Hotel yet. 2 months into a 4 month trip. Also it is very close to the park and I learned if you go to park from Chaulita side it is free. so saved me money.

Right on the water, this little slice of heaven will give you some real Costa Rican vibes! The accommodations are very basic but the folks there are so very great! This has been my favorite place to stay in this country so far!

Exceptional modern stylish hostel set on a quiet backstreet 5 minutes walk from the centre and the beach. There is a good supermarket right there to get all your food to cook in the beautiful kitchen surroundings. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff work very hard to keep it that way, and they were all very friendly and helpful to us. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

This place is perfect - it's pristine, smells amazing, has calming music and plenty of spaces to sit, the kitchen has absolutely everything, the rooms are spacious and airy and have AC and hot showers, the staff are kind and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Svastha. The location is beautiful—surrounded by lush nature yet just a short walk from town. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the whole space has such a peaceful, grounding energy. I loved the yoga and Ayurveda café concept — the classes, food, and overall atmosphere felt authentic and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and common areas made it easy to feel at home. The yoga teachers and facilitators were excellent — truly embodying the spirit of yoga and community. A great place to rest, connect, and recharge. Highly recommend!

Everything this place raises the bar for hostel life. The pool! The receptionists were both very helpful and were so kind to me during my stay. The bathrooms are amazing and reminded me of for Vegas hotels, the women who stay here are beautiful and frequent the pool, easy bike rentals, and all the accomodations any adventurer could desire. I really dug the outside planter/sink combos for general washing and laundry. The woman who runs this place is an absolute goddess and is quite possibly one of her most stunning women I have seen in Costa Rica, ever. 🤤

The ambience location and staff/people here really made it a great stay. We only stayed here 2 nights but spent many nights here hanging out before our stay. Highly recommend.
