It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!

The staff here are the best. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. The owner will go the extra mile to make your stay as good as possible. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and great location that is right in town but off the main streets and quiet. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with everything. Highly recommend staying here. Great value.

The hostel itself, the hosts, and the vibe are exceptional. Highly reccomend for a solo traveler. Their tours are also great.

Amazing place. Really clean. Super friendly staff. Saw a sloth in the hostel and got to pet it. Kitchen big and spacious. Bathrooms clean and plenty of showers. Great time. Ping pong table as well.

Lena and Tony were excellent hosts and extremely helpful with picking excursions. The place was in a great location and after receiving a fan in the room the temperature was good too.

Chris, the owner, is so helpful! he helped me figure out the best tours for my circumstances, and even offered a lower price than any of the tour places around town. the beds are comfortable. some of the dorm rooms even have hot showers (8 bed/ room). there is a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, and hammocks. it’s a great place to meet friends, especially for solo travelers. Saturday nights are bingo nights at the bar. so much fun! it is central, easy to access all the restaurants and stores. there are lockers in the big dorm rooms (8 beds/room), but not in the small dorms (4 beds/room), but did not pose a problem for me.

Located 2.2 mi from the slopes of the Arenal Volcano, this hostel offers its guests complimentary Wi-Fi access, luggage storage, and a snack bar. The property also has an outdoor pool.
