Ithaka hostel is an amazing place to stay in Alexandria. The people are awesome, the rooms and the space super clean and the atmosphere so warm and inspiring. The location is amazing too. The female dorms are very spacious and comfortable with only two people in each room and lots of space in the living room and a room to relax and watch TV! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming! The location is good, with everything you need nearby and a short minute walk to the Main Street close to the sea!

if you get a slightly upgraded room they’re pretty clean and great value for money. Good for overnight emergency/travel stays when you need to be downtown. staff are friendly. entrance is more scary than the hotel actually is-I only found out about it through a local I met otherwise I would’ve never tried. make sure to go to 7th floor when you reach the building bc that’s not obvious. At the low price don’t expect 4-5 star service…it’s a fresh bed and a toilet and smoker-friendly and not a hostel that you have to share.
