Genuine experience: we had a fantastic stay, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. On our first night, he assisted us with the SMS verification for inDrive. On the last night, I accidentally left my jacket on the chair, and the host went above and beyond by sending it to us via GoBus Express while we were heading to Hurghada. He really did more than he had to. The price of $20+ per night is very reasonable and definitely worth it. It’s a great deal—no complaints at all.

Quality difference is very obvious. They have good quality beds, lock for your important stuff, new air conditioner and great city view. Location is very nice. You can see the Nile River from the terrace. The owner "Muhammed" and his brother help whenever I need to ask something. This Hostel is gonna be the most popular Hostel in the Luxor.

Great location. The toilet is quite small but the shower is amazing, especially the water pressure. Had the best shower in Egypt. A big special thank you to Hassan and other staff. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were abandoned by our guide in Aswan, and everyone said there’s no way we could make it to Abu Simbel on the day. But Hassan made the impossible possible and he was not even in Aswan! Totally saved our day!

The receptionist was very friendly and was always waiting for us, maintaining communication from the moment we arrived at the airport at 2AM. The hotel is situated in a good location for visiting Cairo. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were very clean.

Ahmed had a driver meet us at the airport and took us straight to the quiet location on the west bank where we could easily visit all of the local temples and tombs. The hostel has a homestay feel to it and Ahmed and his family can provide everything you need, including home cooked food and advice on attraction prices and locations. They also help provide you with a driver if you need for half a day or a full day. The room was clean, comfortable and the location is perfect for a chilled stay compared to the hustle and hassle of the east bank. Finally the price is a fraction of the cost paid elsewhere which left more money to spend on enjoying the trip. I have already recommended magic place to my family and friends and would do to anyone else as well. Thank you Ahmed and magic place staff.
